Hey there!  I'm Jackie Stahle, the girl behind the camera!

Welcome to Antler Creek Photography!  Since, I've already introduced myself, let me give you a quick bio to get to know me.  First, I am a momma to three amazing kiddos who keep me striving, laughing, and enjoying life to the fullest!  Aside from a photographer, I am a Licensed Esthetician, and like to help lead clients to the fountain of youth (yes... it exists)!  I recognize I am blessed beyond what I deserve, and God has answered so many prayers in my life.  I'm an active person who is fueled by coffee, who always has at least three tasks going at at time, and who loves everything passionately!  I prefer to look on the bright side of things, I'm simple, social, and laughing is my favorite... hehe!!  I enjoy dancing in my kitchen, giving makeovers and sushi and wine on the weekends! That right there, is the simplified story of my life.... in a nutshell!  :)

I started Antler Creek Photography back in 2012 after my youngest child was born.  When I was younger,  I always had a love for art, but never had a natural outlet for it.  My interest in photography first began by running a camera for my high school newspaper and watching my images come to life in the darkroom.  Fast forward a little over a decade, and I felt something was still missing in my life.  One day it hit me that I should try my hand at photography again.  I purchased a camera, and took classes from an amazing landscape photographer out of CA named, Nick Carver (check him out... he's the bomb!) I intended to follow in his footsteps and produce landscape and wildlife photos.  After all, I had access to property with a pond, two creeks, lots of trees, grasses, flowers, an abundance of wildlife... raccoon, fox, coyotes, tons of birds and of course whitetail deer... ya know, THE perfect place for that genre of photography!  So, when trying to come up with a name for my new venture, I thought "Antler Creek Photography" would be the perfect name for a nature and wildlife photography business!  My vision quickly changed as God had other plans for me!

Soon after launching my photos to the world, I was approached to photograph a few families, which led to children, then led to high school seniors!  It didn't take me long to figure out, I LOVE photographing PEOPLE way more than I love photographing the spontaneous animal (although children at the ages of 2-3 are very similar!)  I find great joy in showing people how beautiful and special their relationships are through the lens.  Being a mom makes me realize our time together with our loved ones is precious, fleeting and will someday come to an end here on earth.  The NOW is so important as we never know what tomorrow holds!  I never take moments with my family, friends and clients for granted as you never know when you get another!  It means the world to me to be able to help my clients pause and treasure the moments they have now!

Over the last couple of years, Antler Creek Photography has become primarily known as a high school senior portrait photographer.  I have had work featured along side some of the nations best photographers in publications such as "Senior Style Guide."  In 2015, I was chosen as photographer of the week by Backdrop Express.  The reason I mention this is because I am always striving to be the best ME; constantly keeping up on the latest trends in senior portrait styling and photography in general.  I like to think of my style as "rustic chic."  I ADORE candid images, and all of my client's galleries have several of these types of photographs.  I love marrying beautiful, modern things with old, dirty antique things!  I utilize many natural elements, especially sunlight in my photographs. Just because I live in the country doesn't mean I'm a complete country girl!  Some of my favorite photographs have been taken in urban settings!  Regardless of your style, as long as you like being outdoors, we will make a good match!
